Drury Browne Atelier

London, SW6: my home and the studio of Drury Browne Architects 2000 - 2005.

A new-build project on the site of former stables for the nearby Victorian Thames-side Batey's Brewery; previously used as a builder's storage yard.

A long narrow site with a 7 metre high wall along one side and many residential neighbours, the resulting building incorporated the use of single aspect spaces, roof lighting and concealed balconies and openings.
